Getting in
Your coach gives you the gym's six-character code. There's no way to search for a gym, so if you don't have a code, ask them. Some gyms let you straight in; others have a coach let you in first.
More than one gym
You can be in every gym that gives you a code. Switch between them from the gym switcher, and join another from the same place.
The week
Your gym's classes, open mats and sparring, four weeks ahead. Tap I'm in on anything you're going to. If a coach cancels a session it stays on the week, marked, so nobody turns up to a locked door.
Were you there?
After a session you said you were in for, PoodyPi asks once whether you went. Say yes and it counts. Nobody checks it — it's your word. Close the question and nothing is recorded.
Streak and sessions
Your streak is how many weeks in a row you've trained at least once. Sessions is how many you've been to this month. Each gym counts its own. Your gym sees your streak but not your session count, unless you change that in Settings › Streak and session count. Your owner and coaches always see both.
Sparring
Once you've said you're in for a sparring session, you can ask up to three people to work with you, and they can ask you. Only the person you asked sees it. There's no decline — an ask nobody accepts just lapses, and asks reset every session. Coaches can see the asks at their gym.
Posts
Tap Post, write, add photos with + Media, and pick the class it's about if it's about one. Posts and replies stay in the gym they were posted to. You can edit or delete your own. The owner and coaches can pin posts, and delete anything that shouldn't be there.
Clips
Clips stay in the gym unless you make one public. You can share your own; other people's you can download. To make a clip public you need to be 18 or over, your gym has to allow public clips, and "Clips stay in the gym" has to be off in Profile › Privacy. Only you can make your clip public, and anyone on PoodyPi can then see it.
Messages
You can message anyone in your gym, and any connection even without a gym in common. A gym's owner can switch messages off for their gym. In a group, anyone can add people, rename it or take someone out. Unsend takes a message out of the chat for everyone.
Connections
Connect with people you train with away from your gym — a seminar, an open mat. Search for them by name on your Connections page, open their profile and tap Connect; they accept or let it lapse. Connections are yours, not your gym's, and no gym sees the list. Removing one is silent. Under 18, there's no search and no connecting.
Blocking
Block someone from their profile or a chat. Neither of you can message the other, and they aren't told. It doesn't take either of you out of a group chat. Settings › Blocked accounts is the way back.
Reporting
Report someone from the ··· on their profile or in a chat. It comes to us, not to them or their gym, and we look at every report within 24 hours. For anything urgent, email supportkao@gmail.com.
Leaving a gym
You lose access the moment you leave. Your posts stay. You can come back with the code, unless the owner took you out. If you own the gym, hand it on first.
Running a gym
The owner decides who's in. Put a class on the week — a one-off, or one that repeats — from the + at the top of Week. In Settings › your gym you can change its name, logo and address, switch messages off, and get a new code — the old one stops working, and nobody already in is affected. To take someone out, open their profile and tap ···; they aren't told. Handing the gym on is immediate: they become the owner and you become a coach. Deleting the gym, at the bottom of the same page, takes its schedule, posts and clips with it for everyone. Chats stay.
Deleting your account
Settings › Delete account. It takes your profile, your posts and replies, your messages and your clips with it, and it can't be undone. If you own a gym with other people in it, hand it on first. A gym with nobody else in it goes with you.
